The products of Industrial Line STARe are silicon micromachined piezoresistive pressure sensor chips with a pressure-proportional voltage output signal and electrical shield to avoid external electrical influences.
The devices allow absolute measurement and the application of pressure on both sides of the diaphragm for the use as relative (gauge) sensor. The dies are tested and delivered in tape or in waffle packs.
Dies could have an additional frontside protection layer to avoid humidity effects.
Sensors with 2.0 mm glass backplate are also available in all pressure ranges for the applications with hard rugged glue.
