The First Sensor Microelectronic Packaging GmbH and its employees continue their commitment to the Kinderarche Sachsen e. V. Yesterday, for the third time in a row, employees of the Dresden-based sensor manufacturer handed over a donation check for €1,000 to the independent youth welfare organization in Radebeul. The money will be used for new purchases for a residential group of the non-profit organization, which among other things looks after children and teenagers from problematic living conditions, and will also be used for excursions.
The amount was raised through a First Sensor fundraising campaign. Employees gave a self-designed photo calendar to colleagues in return for a small donation and collected a total of €466 for the organization of their choice. Supported by the "First Sensor helps" program for social commitment, the company subsequently increased the amount to €1,000 to honor this special commitment.
"We are happy that we can support the Kinderarche Radebeul and its important work with a donation for the third time in a row. As a Dresden-based company, it is important to us to make a contribution to the community and give back. I am particularly proud of our employees, who put their heart and soul into improving the situation of children and teenagers every year," says Sandro Pampel, Managing Director of First Sensor Microelectronic Packaging GmbH. In the past two years, the company has also given donations of €1,000 each to the charitable organization. In a few steps quickly and conveniently to the right product.
