Risk management

Risk management is an important tool for sustainable business management at First Sensor. We use numerous tools here to address risks proactively and to keep a constant eye on our company's risk situation.

Our risk management is based on the First Sensor risk house. Its four pillars classify the risks that we regard as relevant, and also cover compliance issues.

To identify risks relevant to us proactively and reliably, we survey our company's risk situation every quarter. The results are used to inform the Supervisory Board and the capital market, and to enable the management to instigate measures at an early stage.

In addition, our internal control system (ICS) deals with proactive management of risks at the level of our business processes. As risks also arise in the area of compliance, we have set up a supplementary information and training program based on our Code of Conduct. These measures are intended to promote upright conduct and prevent misconduct.
